Our Story
Our Journey So Far
Identical twins. Two careers. One purpose. Scroll to walk the path with us.
The Journey
From Then to Now
01 — The Beginning
Two Sisters, One Path
We are Esther and Laura — identical twins, born in Bristol and raised in Leicestershire. We have walked remarkably similar paths our whole lives, often without planning to.
02 — First Venture
Our First Business
Our first business together saw us establishing a base in Yorkshire and setting up a recruitment company. Even then, the heart of the work was helping people reach their potential and create positive change.
03 — A Turning Point
Family & Wellbeing
Next, career breaks to raise our young families led us to re-training and qualifying as personal trainers and setting up and running a business in the health, fitness and wellbeing sector. Once again, we found ourselves drawn to the human side of change. We became fascinated by what helps people grow, what holds them back. How support, understanding and encouragement can enable people to move forward through difficult periods in their lives. Our work focused on physical wellbeing, lifestyle change and personal development, and it was here that we saw first-hand the powerful connection between emotional wellbeing, self-belief, resilience and lasting change.
04 — The Retraining
Ten Plus Years of Learning, Training and Growth
Our curiosity about people and relationships led us back into education. Over ten plus years, we trained and qualified as counsellors while continuing to develop our knowledge in areas including trauma, anxiety, depression, attachment, relationships, intimacy and couples therapy. The more we learned, the more passionate we became about helping our clients understand themselves, strengthen their relationships and create meaningful change in their lives.
05 — Today
